Inclement Weather and Closing Policy
The safety of the All Saints community, including the congregation, volunteers and staff, is our priority. The purpose of the All Saints Inclement Weather and Emergency Closing Policy is to provide timely communications regarding the status of church activities during inclement weather or other emergency situations. Weather conditions may vary throughout the area, so everyone is encouraged to use their best judgement when deciding whether to drive in hazardous conditions.
Closings and cancellations
Sunday services
In the event of inclement weather, Sunday morning services will only be cancelled if the Rector (or designated officiant if the Rector is away) can not make it to church. We will notify the congregation by 7am if the service will be canceled by email, on Facebook, Instagram and the Website. If services are not cancelled but driving conditions are hazardous, services can be streamed on Facebook.
Evening activities
All Saints will notify the congregation if any evening activities will be canceled by 4pm by email, on Facebook, Instagram and the Website.
Sunday youth group activities
If Sunday morning services are canceled, youth group activities are also cancelled. If services take place that morning but the weather deteriorates during the day, the decision whether to cancel activities will be up to the discretion of the Rector (or designated officiant if the Rector is away).
In all cases, please use your personal discretion to determine if it is safe for you to leave your home and travel to church.
